August 2010

Brothers and Sisters,

Dawn Livingston, Acting Chief Steward in the CSSC and I continue our weekly meeting with management. Stavros advised us that AHT is still high. I think everyone understands that with the scripting that is required it is at times almost impossible to get the AHT to 540. Stavros explained if we could get close to this number we would be able to take all of the Florida CSSC calls back. Close rates have stayed up. Attendance remains at about 12%. Please remember anytime you participate in any Verizon drawings to read the rules before you enter.

Sherry Waters, Chief Steward in E-Commerce, Lisa Little (Steward), Bridgitte Crozier, Sue Parker and I met with management for our monthly partnership meeting. Management recognized that communication needs to be more clear and precise and will continue to work on this. Positive recognitions outside of sales, attendance awards and anniversary dates were some suggestions that were made and will be looked at.

Dora Mullis, Chief Steward at the 301 Complex, Joy Teague, Peaches Caldwell, Rhonda Gilbert, Alice Kunder and Danny Alfonso met with management for the monthly partnership meeting. The safety issues were addressed and resolve as a result of the last meeting. Some concerns that the BSSS’S had were about the training issues. We have been told that management is looking into having an ISD, BRI and Errors training class.

Please remember it is the MEMBERS responsibility to follow up on your FMLA/Metlife claims. If you haven’t received a denial or approval within 14 days you need to make contact with these companies to see what your claims status is.

In Solidarity,

Michelle Agne
