The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced that effective January 1st, 2010 the IRS standard mileage rate will decrease from 55 (fifty-five) cents to 50 (fifty) cents. This rate applies to the authorized use of an employee's personal vehicle for business travel in the U.S.
Verizon has implemented the new rate effective January 1st, 2010.
