and Debi Bickel held a stress committee meeting.
This is the committees 2nd meeting. Janet provided packets which included some
of the services that the Employee Assistant Program can help our members
with. We discussed how we will be able to reach members on all of the
benefits that are provided.
One of our goals is to get the information about EAP to each member. One way
we intend to do this for inside plant is to set up a table with committee members
and a 11"x17" posters promoting EAP and VZ-Life.
Another suggestion was made to make laminated
cards with each department call out numbers with EAP's number included
on it. We discussed creating a quarterly newsletter with different
topics that you can obtain from this service. We have had several
members that have volunteered to make up sub-committees we are still
discussing how we can bring management and these committees together all
at the same time. We intend to set up yard meetings with the outside
plant members.
Our next meeting is scheduled for November 10th.
